I suggest a 5mm for planetary viewing. That and the 10mm and 20mm that came with the telescope should be all you need. This will give you-
5mm(140x)
10mm(70x)
20mm(35x)
140x is about all this small aperture will handle.

Top 5 Bestselling Telescope Eyepieces
Need help on understanding eyepieces for telescope?
I have recently purchased a telescope of 80mm.
What I don't understand is what sort of size of eyepiece will increase the magnification, a smaller eyepiece or bigger eyepiece.
Looking over the internet, I have found a site that tells me that the smaller the eyepiece, the bigger the magnification, however bigger eyepieces are more expensive. So something doesn't seem to add up xD
Help?
The number printed on the eyepiece is the focal length of the eyepiece. The magnification in the view you will see can be determined by dividing the focal length of the scope (a fixed number based on the telescope model) by the focal length of the eyepiece. This means that the smaller the number on the eyepiece, the larger the magnification - and vice versa. (ADDED NOTE: In your case, 80 mm is the aperture of your scope, not the focal length. The focal length will be a bigger number, like 500 - 1000 mm - that can be found by looking up the specs on the scope).
In general, the cost of the eyepiece is based on the amount of glass that is included, the quality of the finish and coating on that glass, and more obscure criteria like Apparent Field of View and Eye Relief. This sometimes correlates with eyepiece focal length, but not always. Generally - in the world of quality eyepieces - you get what you pay for.
How do I find the latitude, longitude, azimuth, rec and elevation? I own a ioptron smartstar g r80. I know my coordinates but I need help converting them to minutes. my computer won't let me download the manual so any help out there would be much appreciated, thank you.
Dear Jackie:
Surveyor gave you the most correct answer so far. On the internet you should be able to get your location in lat and long fairly easily using your city, state, and country information in the blanks on a typical mapping site. You will need a carpenter's level to set your tripod head exactly level, and then point the telescope at Polaris to establish what we refer to as zero degrees (vertical). From there you should be able to utilize the inscriptions on the side of your scope mount to swing the telescope to various elevations. A compass may be used to assist you in setting the position of the tripod legs so that the compass rose on the head of the tripod is aligned correctly with North where it should be. From that point onward, you should be able to start your observations with no problem.
